FWIW the 1/2000th speed on my SL2 works fine. But I've never actually used it other than when shooting a test roll of E200 (at EI 320) right after I bought the camera. The SL2 and Kodachrome 25 have taken quite a liking to each other so I tend to hang out at the slower end of the shutter dial. - -Dave-
