Ergo it's either - - -- the photoflo, so use less or none - - -- something in the tank or absorbed in the film, in which case you aren't washing properly ===================================================================== I believe Martin's @#&$$& water marks may be caused by inadequate final rinsing. To be sufficiently thorough, you must rinse at least three times. Failure to do this will merely dilute the hard water minerals or soap, it won't remove them completely. You will then get drying marks. I suggest, if you must use Photoflo or some other soapy additive, don't let that be the final rinse. Do at least three additional rinses, using pure (distilled or deionised) water only. You don't need to use a squeegee or any other means of removing the water from the surface of the film, unless you're going to dry it in a dust-prone place. Pure water cannot leave drying marks but a squeegee can certainly scratch the emulsion, which is still soft until it is dried out completely.
