Just have to "jump" in here.  Used Mephistos for several years. Great
walking (NY city) shoe. . .
but. . .IMO, the ECCO line is much better.( Men's line).  There's something
I never got used
to  about the M's"flat feeling sole". . .the Ecco's also seemed to wear
longer. Cheaper too.
But I do  think the M's ARE good shoes. The Ecco just works better for me.
