Was: Vanity photos Buzz, At first I figured I was the old fart of the LUG, however there are a couple of other good old "boys" in the 70's also toting Leica's, not sure any breaking the 80 mark, but good old Rob just keeps humming along like the "Pink bunny rabbit" on those Eveready batteries!! He just keeps going & going! :-) I do believe it as something to do with Rome atmosphere, great Italian food, and of course the wine. Not to forget the great lady that cares for him. :-) However, we have a pledge that as soon as I catch-up with him we're out after chicks strolling the Piazza Navona or any other locations where those beautiful Italian females stroll the avenues flaunting there beauty. The plan is, we're goin' to get us a couple and without a doubt goin' to have a hell of time and both of us are leaving this world with the biggest smiles on our faces you've ever seen. Now that's the plan, however one must always remember it rarely works like this because: "There is our plan, And there is God's plan. And undoubtedly we'll find our plan doesn't count! " :-) And we may just past on to the big darkroom in the sky with the smiles merely created from the memories of our youth! ;-) Our biggest problem right now is finding a couple of honeys strolling slow enough for us to catch ! ;-) Yeah Buzz he's a virile young guy at heart and won the 100 meter dash in the "All Rome Games for senior sports!. Why he even set a new world record of one hour and 15 minutes beating the previous winner, a 99 year old Italian by 1 second. Unfortunately his win was disallowed after the pee test results taken half way through the race, as most of the old guys rarely make it to the finishline before they gotta go. ;-) It was found he had taken a banned substance before the race, "Geritol!" Undoubtedly giving him a "lift so's to speak" during the charge to the finish! ;-). However the only way to confirm the vitality of this lad is to sit on a plaza during a fine warm after noon sipping exquisite Italian wines and watch how he glows as the honey's stroll by! :-) :-) ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Buzz Hausner" <Buzz@marianmanor.org> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Friday, January 26, 2001 4:45 AM Subject: [Leica] Is Appleby REALLY 95?
