A nice looking thing, I'm told that it used the same glass type used in the 50/1.2 Noctilux, hence allowing Leitz to dispense with the fourth element. The collapsible 90/4 was optically identical with the 90/4 rigid made from 1949-1963: 4 elements. Strangely, Wetzlar issued the 3 element in screwmount 4 years after they stopped making the IIIg.
