I found that the black chrome anodizing wears away pretty quickly and it doesn't look nearly as good. When I got my 3rd M6 (black) cause they didn't have a chrome one, the first thing I did was put black electrical tape on the body where I touch it the most to prevent it from brassing too quickly.. - -Mark On Wed, 24 Jan 2001 goldframe1@yahoo.com wrote: Personally I don't see why someone would want the black paint on a working camera, it would wear down far more quickly than the black chrome anodizing. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Steve LeHuray Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 7:41 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] M6 Black Paint > <<Hello, > > > Does anyone follow up how many different kinds of the M6 black paint model > > they have made?
