The R8 is big and bulky and heavy. But what a wonderful camera! I have already tested it with a roll of slide film (Kodak E100VS), and the transparencies were all perfectly exposed in all 3 metering modes. The TTL flash exposures were also perfect. Fill flash in daylight at 1/250 second is great! That was often hard to do with my M6 TTL. The M6 will remain of course and I will use it in low light conditions or when I do not want to carry the heavy R8 plus lenses. Sincerely, Muhammad R.K.
