"My" repairman told me he is getting Leica parts to repair Minolta XE1
(=R3) or XD7 (=R4). Better availability and cheaper price.

I recently advised a friend to purchase a XE1 with MD 1.4/50 (together
DM 199) and an MD 2.8/135 (DM 99). After some superficial cleaning the
overall appearance is great. Unbelievable value for money that was. And
to good for canibalising.
