Seattle LUGgites interested in the artistic exploration of uses of out of
focus areas might want to catch the current Uta Barth exhibit at the Henry
Art Gallery (til Jan 21), http://www.henryart.org/.

Where else can you see 10 by 15 foot wall prints which are completely out of
focus. And strangely beautiful.

Personally I like the medium size prints where a few elements are in focus,
but most of the space is out of focus.

The glories of bokeh! Naturalism and washes of color to make Mark Rothko
envious.

Warning: this is strictly art photography. Pictures of banal scenes, but
beautifully done. No socially significant statements to be found.
