Hi everybody: I've picked up a chrome 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor in Leica screw mount. The lens focuses normally down to a meter, encounters a detent, then proceeds down to about 18 inches minimum focus. It has no provision for 'goggles' for close focusing, and in any case the rangefinder runs out at 1 meter. Was there supposed to be some sort of accessory for this? It seems pretty useless to me to make an f/1.4 lens focus to 18 inches with no rangefinder coupling. thanks.... rick :)= ===== Visit my very own web site at http://rick_oleson.tripod.com !
