I bought an ATL-1500, and it is set and forget...and beeps when done. I
absolutely love it. It is fully programmable, does 6 rolls of 120, 5 of 35
in the large tank, or two 120 or two 35mm in the small tank. It does
require an external water temp controller/mixing valve, and I use the Hass
Manufacturing Intellifaucet. It too, is set and forget, and computer
controlled. Since I process both B&W and E6, and they require vastly
different temps...it is as easy as turning the dial on the
Intellifaucet...and it just gets it right.

The 1500 does have chemical recovery capability. I can say enough about it.
It's small, very consistent and very reasonably priced...and especially if
you can find one used.

The only thing I can say about it is draining is done by gravity, not by
pump...and you have to make sure you get the drain hoses done right, or you
have problems. It isn't hard to do, you just have to be aware of it.

Oh, and it also has a battery backup...though for the money, I'd buy an
external UPS if I were you...more watts of backup, and less money.
