It was under $4000.00. It makes big cool prints when he feeds it MF scans from his Imacon. He's using color inks. For 35mm you can set up an Epson 1160 with Piezo and continous inking system for under $1000.00 It will print up to 13" wide paper. Then print slightly more than 12X18 image area. The prints are really good. Or buy a 1270 and use the Epson inks and paper. This is what I have (along with a 3000 and 1200) and I'm quite pleased with it. I do color and toned B&W. One of the above and a 4000 ppi film scanner is about as good as it gets for 35mm B&W digital. (that normal people can afford) Henry Ambrose
