At the end of the day, you'll be tired of loading / unloading the cameras in a bag, and you'll miss good pictures. But the best route on vacation, is one body / one lens at a time: then you're a free man! ======================================================================== That's my approach too. I don't like being encumbered by bags any more than necessary. It's obviously even more of an issue with R gear than with M. My favourite all-purpose focal length is 35mm so that's the lens I generally choose but, for a change of perspective, I'll sometimes select a 24mm or maybe a 90mm, especially if I'm visiting the same place for the second or third time. This forces me to look for different opportunities and to see new possibilities.
