Sorry boys but I'm maybe better (and never see the Scots' land) My formula : - - load a cassette with the usual lenght (1.6 m) of your favorite film and let only 1 or 1/2 inch film out; - - tape at this end a leader about 4-5 inches long (recovered from the trash) - - load your camera your first picture is on the (first or at least on the) second inch of the film !!!!!! and you can use the leader MANY times So about 40-42 frames on a film and 7 strips of 6 frames feel at ease on a 24x30 paper :-). Looks like a 10% discount. Unfortunately this system works only with camera loading the film with emulsion inside (e.g. my beloved C****s F1 but not with my Leica IIf or M - I've tried :-) - be sure ). I think in fact that's the true reason why Leica gear is considered as expensive :-) :-) Bernard bernard.degaute@village.uunet.be
