Neopan 1600 is a true 1600, unlike most other high speed films which are around 1000 or 1200 and have to be pushed to reach their nominal speeds. In other words you get more shadow detail. Plus it has excellent tonality as it's an old-fashioned thick emulsion. Grain is very sharp and not at all objectionable. Try it... you might like it!
