The current Camera Arts began publication just two or three years ago and has no connection to the original magazine except the name, and the fact that Jim Hughes, who edited the original Camera Arts, writes a monthly column in the current one. Considered by many to have been the most beautiful of all photography magazines, Camera Arts gave up the ghost shortly after going monthly. Its subscription list was taken over by American Photographer, the predecessor of American Photo (and a far better magazine), which began publication in June, 1978. I have a complete set of the original Camera Arts, and no, they're not for sale. Er. . .how much did you say?! Dave Jenkins
