Film is dying, if not yet dead, sorry I thought I would never say >> that. <<<<< I'm no expert on industry matters, but I was recently having lunch with a camera shop owner friend of mine who said that the increase in digital (now 40% of the market in Italy) was not affecting film-based camera sales. It is a new market, at least according to him. However, I can't help but believe that in the long run digital will push film into a tiny niche at most. And in the long long run, eliminate it. Rob.
