I have 3 old Leica lenses. One of which is the 90/2.8 Elmarit, SN 2373xxx.
I’m guessing this lens was made around 1968. I use it with an M3 and a M4-P.
I may soon buy a M6 TTL .085. I am also considering the purchase of a NEW
90/2.8 Elmarit to take the place of my old 90.

My question: Is the new 90/2.8 Elmarit MUCH better than my old 90. The new 90
will cost me about $1,000. Would I be able to SEE the difference in the
images from the new 90 vs the old 90?

I use color or black and white negative film (100 or 400). I then print my
images 8x10 on an Epson 870. Next year I will be printing 11x14 images from
the new Epson 2000P.

Thanks for your input...
