I've been seeing references to a 50 DR lens and I had no idea what DR stood for. From the Web page furnished by you, David, I learn that DR stands for Dual Range. I have never heard of a Dual Range lens. I shoot a Summicron 50, current model; how does the 50 DR differ from that? Thanks for the leg-up. - -- Paul Paul Arnold 22 Sunrise St. Dillon, Montana Visit MY GALLERY: http://www.geocities.com/osprey59725/index.html - ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Kieltyka" <daverk@email.msn.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2000 11:19 AM Subject: [Leica] Re: Hood for Summicron 50 DR > "Logan Reinwood" <reinwood007@hotmail.com> wrote: > > > I am on the way to buy a 50 DR (actually I saw it yesterday > > in a shop, and plan to go this morning to buy it). > > Is there a hood that fits that lense? > > Ah, my favorite Leitz 50mm M lens.
