Here's more about the color negative chemistry "pills" Nathan wrote about:

Quote from "Solids chemistry from TetenalŠ"
(the first press release at the URL above)

"Photographers will have the choice of a negative kit of unsurpassed
user-friendliness from October with the launch of the COLORTEC© C-41
PHOTOTABS Negative Kit: there is no excess produced even when single
films
are being developed, as the constituents of the individual baths are
first
granulated and then pressed into practical tablets. "

I wrote Jobo-USA about whether this would be available in the US. Seems
it would be very useful for small quantities of processing without waste
due to short mixed chemistry life, which is one drawback to very low
volume DIY C41 work.
