When I'm cycling and something catches my eye, I want to take the shot quickly and move on. I'm trying to find a front pack solution. I've tried two, but I wasn't happy with either one. I want something that's light and easy to open, but I also want it to protect my equipment in case of a spill. I ride quite a bit in the rain, so protection from the elements is important, too. I'll probably have to rig something up myself. I don't think I'll find something off-the-shelf. I've been looking for months. Dave ************************* My wife and I did a three week bike tour of Ireland seven years ago and I swithched between carrying my m6 and 35/1.4 either in a fannypack or frontbag. I put the camera in a HD ziplock bag and then wrapped it in a light fleece pullover for protection. Seemed to work ok, and was reasonably fast to pull out. Certainly faster than the 4x5 setup that I had packed in a drybag and was strapped to the rear rack along with the Ries tripod. I noticed that Glazer's in Seattle has an Ortlieb bicycle front bag that comes with camera padding inside. The bag looks to be very waterproof, but perhaps a bit slow to open and close. Typically I just carry a IIIf and 50/3.5 in a ziplock bag in my jersey pocket. Probably not the smartest idea from a protection standpoint. Tom Finnegan Seattle
