There is no doubt in my mind to that! He AND many others.

If someone makes technical statements that I know to be wrong, I will tell them, no matter
who they are, and how right they are about other things. Though someone may be very
proficient in some disciplines, that does not mean they are an expert in everything.
There are others on this list that have more experience and knowledge on certain subjects
than others do. It is insulting to those that are very qualified to discuss these issues, to
dismiss them.

The master of some things, perhaps. BUT not all. That statement really doesn't sit well
with me. It comes across, to me, as disrespectful to other very knowledge contributors.

> Within his definitions -- and mine! -- he is absolutely correct.

I don't know what you mean by that, but in the case he was discussing about digital issues,
his original statements were not correct. He has since reiterated what he claims he was
try trying to get at, and his current comments, though not without flaws, show a much better
understanding of the issue.

> Erwin is a treasure, to be cherished.

Please...you should have stopped at 'remarkable contribution to this list'. I very much so
respect Erwin, and many others on this list for their technical contributions, but I very much
disrespect the 'I'll take my marbles and play elsewhere (if anyone disagrees with me)' and
then these sycophantic replies.

> If you do not agree with his interpretation, then, pray,

Yes I do disagree with things he has said, and I have responded with 'scientific evidence',
personal experience and knowledge of the subject at hand, as well as others have too.

Sorry, Marc, I respectfully disagree, and also believe it is unfair to Erwin to put him in this
position. It makes it more difficult for him to be wrong. We are all human, and we have all
been wrong in some form or another.
