The 2000p is not without its own problems. I recommend Michael Reichmann's Luminous Landscape site, www.luminous-landscape.com, for those who are interested in the nitty gritty. Also I believe Epson's buy-back plan for the 1270 and 870, though apparently inconsistently implemented, is mainly in response to the company's recognition that people are using Epson printers for serious work. I own an 870 and haven't experienced any problems with cyan fading myself. - -Dave-
