thanks for the details Ted.  It's interesting to read about the events
surrounding the taking of a famous photo.

Another photo of similar impact, to my mind, is the one (or many) of Diana
Spencer, holding a child on her hip with another by her side (?) backlit by
the sun with dress rendered see through.  It introduced her to the world.
