The matter is selling such an item "on the floor" against "all bells & whistles" competing models: that requires better qualified sales personel. Then, where is "good" photography headed ? The tools may define the medium, up to a point, as the digital capabilities expand, either within the camera itself or "post-production" software and hardware, also possible avenues for Leica, though I'd favor retaining the quality and mystique first, and cover other bases with appropriate offerings derived from in-the-field experience. I expect Leica to survive and sure would like to see their year 2025 general catalog and muse over it for a few weeks ! Best regards, Andre Jean Quintal
