The lenses are marked with a a double Z logo in the coating which I found surprising. The titanium frames are not Japanese so it must be they are making only part of their range abroad. I would say that although the lenses are the best I have had in terms of distortion in the periphery and their light weight the frames were a disappointment. I returned one pair of frames as the hinges allowed a twisting motion to the arms (the frames being inadequately pinned to the hinge it seemed). The second set of frames had exactly the same problem.
