The essential point of my posts is that I relied on a second-hand report on a subject which is a very difficult one on which to report authoritatively. The actual Leitz or Leica lens is a secondary question, which may be of concern to those contemplating purchase of a Hexar, but not to me. Been there, done that. Joe Sobel
