Cams can be difficult to find, but not impossible. Easiest is to find one with a reasonable lens already on, that has the cam in already. I added a big chunky Linhof handgrip to mine that I also got from that other unmentionable place. Mine was a little higher priced than some, but the seller claimed it was owned by a lady photography who died in 1974 - well, I think the ser # dated to about 69 so it didn't see much use. I was a bit sceptical, but when I got it, with a bunch of film holders, correct shade, manual etc, it was in lovely shape. The film holders still had Kodak Super Panchro press and Imperiale Pan from Spain! You can also try the likes of Keh and some of the LF dealers listed on the Graflex site. There are a few things to make sure of when you go for one, so let me know off list Tim PS, if you can go here this is the Toyo Super Graphic - a slightly re-tooled version that Toyo made when they bought up the design after Graflex went under. It is easy to see how this evolved into the Toyo 45A Field I have. http://www.cosmonet.org/camera/super_e.htm BTW, it's like Leica - get that Fed, Zorki or an old LTM, then you can't stop. You'll be wanted a Linhof Mater Technika with the latest Super-Symmar XL 5.6/110mm! > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of John > Brownlow > Sent: September 21, 2000 11:30 AM > To: LUG > Subject: Re: [Leica] OT - Speed/Crown graphic > > > From the responses so far it looks like the Super Graphic is the > way to go! > > Now I just have to find one! > > > -- > Johnny Deadman > > http://www.pinkheadedbug.com > > >
