I wonder whether Erwin's prediction of the imminent demise of film in favour of
digital imaging is not unrelated to the very good information I have been given by
knowledgeable folks affiliated with Solms who say that, indeed, a digital M option is
in the works. This is no longer just a dream: our Summicrons and Noctiluxes etc. have
a long future awaiting them.
