I have my name down for one and wondered if anyone else had thought about acquiring one. I must admit that the lack of any threads does seem to suggest that it may not be of interest to many people, perhaps because it may be regarded as a collectors piece rather than a user camera. I do intend to use mine of course. I understand the only concession to modernity is that it is slightly higher than the original so as to accommodate 35mm film cassettes. Simon>> The other concession to modernity is a redesigned Anistigmat lens with multi-coating. I think that the interest in this camera is very high indeed...though yes, chiefly among collectors. So far I have 12 people they say that they will commit to buying one and I am not even taking orders yet! I can guarantee that the 4000 unit projected edition will sell out just as the Millennium cameras did. (mine did in one week at least.) I think my one wish for this camera is that it was not a FIXED lens camera. I know the original one was, but I think it would have done wonders for the slow moving new Leica Screw Mount lenses to have a new body that you could use them on. Still, I think it is a pretty cool collectors concept and yes indeed it will take regular 35mm film cassettes. later, Rich PS- I'm off to Photokina tomorrow, so see you all in two weeks and some of you at the show. Happy snaps!
