Could it be that women really do think size matters? ;-) Of course you could also explain to your subject that the Leica is one fancy-ass piece of German engineering coveted for the precision craftsmanship and lenses that can resolve a million lines per millimeter, but then you run the risk of one day discovering that you are wearing a white belt and have joined a country club... The bottom line is, did she let you take her picture or send you packing, telling you to come back when you had a real camera? Bob Kramer P.S. The things that cause you grief are what I like the most about the M camera. Small, unassuming, and few people take you serious when you start ripping off shots for no discernable reason. > -----Original Message----- > From: Kyle Cassidy [mailto:cassidy@netaxs.com] > Sent: Monday, August 21, 2000 11:58 AM > > our intrepid photographer asks "may i take your photograph?" > the subject > eyes him suspiciously, thinking he's just some miscilanious pervert. > (perhaps the very one who keeps leaving those _things_ in her > mailbox.) he > explains his project. she eyes him even more suspiciously. he > pulls out > his portfolio. she is entranced.
