Kinoptik lenses are better known in the (kin-optik=cin-optik)motion picture
market. They are often associated with Bolex Cameras.   Heitz is the
distributor in the US (I think)?. They are French lenses. Nobody in the
motion picture market is clammering for them. My impression is they have
been left behind in terms of technology
