I was amazed at the Hasselblad 50/2.8 F series lense. It has a close focus
of ~.3 meters. The 35 Summilux only goes to .6 meters. The Hasselblad
110/2 can go down to .8 meters.

Agreed. At infinity, it snips the corner about %50 up and %30 over into
the frame lines. Since this is the lense I keep on my M6, and take %80 of
my pictures with, I am surprised I never noticed how much at close focus it
snips! I guess it just doesn't bother me at all, I'm paying attention to
the picture.

I am getting a Contax 85/1.4, and it'll be interesting to see how it
compares with the 75/1.4... Much to my surprise, the Contax Aria is
smaller than the M6 w/ RapidWinder...and a lot lighter...but it doesn't
feel like an M ;-)
