For me the only reason to shoot R is the lenses. They have a consistent look to my final edit when I am using Ms as well. Of course, you will have to focus manually, and are limited to stop down metering in manual or aperture priority modes. TTL flash may work. I don't know because I have not used this adapter (yet!).
