Steve, this is definitely not my experience. I have 2 MR meters, they get
sometimes bumped, have been dropped and are often off the camera and used
handheld and then put in to my pocket. Never had any problems. However I suppose
if you want to be really safe, the new
clip on meter from Cosina should be (in theory) very rugged. There are no moving
parts to get out of adjustment.

never the less, I like the MR meters. When clipped on to the camera, they are
very easy to read.
