The number eight is auspicious in Chinese culture as it means 'prosperity'.
The number 3 means 'long life'.......so perhaps someone with more
understanding of Chinese numerology on the LUG can advise whether 888 has a
particular meaning, perhaps of extraordinary prosperity, or does the
tripling have a connection to prosperity and long life?
