The R4 came out in 1980, by which time Adams was in his late 70's and in 
failing health. (He died, I seem to remember, in 1984).  Most of his last 
published photos were taken with the Hasselblad (also given to him on 
"indefinite loan" by Hasselblad).  Those cameras were auctioned off for 
charity not too long ago.
