In reality that was back in the time of Queen Elizabeth I, not today. If you feel you can do it or want to do picture taking, damn well take the camera and go do it! Don't accept this bull sh...t about you're too old! There are a number of "Mature" folks on the LUG/LEG and none of us should be shy to go out and do street or whatever turns us on in the use our leica's. Heck always keep in mind Esie didn't go to the big darkroom in the sky until 96, even at that age he went out and snapped away doing something he loved with great passion, being a photographer! Even though he had a sight problem and it was only the range finder of the Leica that allowed him to do what he loved.
