The stamped steel bodies of the earlier LTM Leicas do not seem sturdy enought 
to take the weight of the Canon 1.2 or 0.95 lenses even if you could see 
through the viewfinder. You would have to use a IIIc or later LTM camera with 
a die cast body. Incidentially, I use a Canon 1.2 with a IIIf but I have to 
use a 50 mm Brilliant finder.
