Jeez it's a mess! The great thing about keeping the duds is seeing where you're (hopefully) getting better, or in my case--not. I'm having a rough time, whereby i'm getting out of practice. My Leica's miss me! It's fun keeping a record of where you've been 'photographically' in your development; and it's also pretty amazing how the duds find new relevance in your life over time too. I think Mike J had something to say about this last year in relation to an old family house of his. Todays duds might just be the next year or decades' keepers. Besides, although we might never actually get to hear it, it will be fun for someone to say " Great camera, just a shame Grandpa/ma was such an uneven photographer. Some of these are really shirty.."
