I have owned and used a Kodak tray siphon since they were invented. Yes
indeed, they work. But you have to put up with floating and stuck together
prints which really don't get the full nine yards of wash unless you keep
an eye on them and poke and pull to keep them circulating freely.

And it requires a tray INSIDE the sink, taking up valuable sink space
unless you are fortunate enough to be the lucky bum that has an 18 foot
sink. In a short sink you can hang it over the edge hoping that the siphon
doesn't quit which will flood your darkroom.

Anyway, the Dunwright & Vogel, Nova (nice too as it has a hypo clearing
chamber which eliminates yet another tray), and the like all sit happily
OUTSIDE your less than 18 foot sink thus allowing you to continue making
big prints while your previous prints wash, and perhaps clear.

To each his own. And you can only do what you have space and money to do.
