Steve,

I thought this might be a good idea but the rear element of the 21 is
really close to the bottom of the cap. Also the only rivet capability I
have, or can think of is the "pop" rivets and one side of them protrudes
a lot.

From what I am hearing the epoxy might hold really tight. The solvent
type glue I didn't think of, but solvent glues don't work with all
plastics. Not sure what these caps are made of.
