Wonderful lens for a IIIc! I found it to be surprisingly sharp, and personally, when I ran some tests on a bunch of 50mm lenses, with 400 asa HP5, I really couldn't tell a whole lot of difference when they were used at f3,5 and smaller apertures! Summar is a little soft, but if you are into retro-cameras, then you probably like the 'retro' look from the 30's! Elmar is about the best compromise! ( Don't be surprised, though, if a 35/3,5 Summaron isn't looming somewhere in your future!) Dan ( Hukht on Liekas wirhks 4 me!)
