They gasped at $250, but the M polarizer actually costs $100 more than that (B&H has it for $320). Note that you do not adjust the polarizer by swinging it in front of the viewfinder (as this description suggests) and adjusting while focusing and composing, but rather over the top plate of the camera (as though looking through an auxillary finder), then swinging it back down a full 180 degrees.
