Ted! a backup look for me has long been T Max 3200 in Rodinal between 1:50 and 1:100.

not that I'd make a careeeeeer out a that look.
And of course plain Vanilla Tri X in Rodinal 1:100 gets you a definite glow in
the highlights and a real magic!

IF your getting bored with Xtol make sure you've tried it 1:3.
It can be tooooo smoooooth otherwise.
