[Leica] It seem that I made a horrible mistake!!

Luggers,

I bought Ted's R8 winder and power pack.  It arrived today looking like
new.  I thought that with it on my camera I would thereafter take great
pictures.  But guess what happened???  I can't get the camera to even take
one exposure!!!  Since none of my pictures would come up to the quality of
Ted's - the stupid camera won't take any!!  Not only that it has now welded
itself to my R8 and won't  come off.  You would think that maybe one of my
exposures would came reasonably close to emulating Ted's.  I also noticed
that although it looked new that was a little bit of - could it be- yes, it
was - cow stuff on the corner!!!   It won't come off either.
