I can relate to this right now. Normally I process all
my negative film (whether C41 or B&W) myself. The
other day I had a roll of Fuji 800 to develop and
because my Jobo was not yet set up after moving it to
Switzerland, I took the film to the place in Zurich
where I have my E6 processed (always with good
results). I picked up the pictures yesterday and they
are awful, with a terrible red color cast on the
indoor pics and all sorts of ugly casts on the outdoor
pics. Now, this is a film with which I am quite
familiar and which always has given me good results.
This is the last time I have taken a C41 film to this
lab. Nobody will look after my film with the same care
as I do.
