I do however use it for a flash trigger to fire a couple of Calumet Travelite Monolites. We often have some minister or top official of the Ecuadorian Government or some notable person come by for an hour long radio program. Last week was the top minister of government, and tommorow is the Presidents brother who is in charge modernization of state owned companies. I am asked to photograph them so we have images that can be used for PR, the on-line news pages and follow up with the guest... The lighting in the studio for available light photography is just awful, overhead fluorescents and overhead spot lights that make noon day sunlight look flattering. On-camera flash is just as worse. So a couple monolights and umbrellas do the trick.... The M camera doesn't make anyone jerk although the multiple flashes do give a bit of a startle the first time they fire. Either way Harrison, Photography wasn't invented until loooooooooooong after Joan of Arc's death........ I can't imagine anyone burning Donal or Harrison at the stake for heresy, maybe out of eny perhaps, but not flash heresy. OTOH, I'll probably should get burned at the stake for the invention of photography wise-crack at Harrison's expense...
