I too had a 35/2 Summicron that wasn't up to par. Image my surprise when I
took a peek through the lens a noticed something on the innner elements. I
sent it back to New Jersey for repair (under Passport Warranty) and got back
a lens that was worthy of the Summicron's reputation.
