The absolute truth.  Yet often hard to see through the arrogance serving
to mask a lack of talent.

Much of this comes, these days, from being given neither the time or
money to get to the truth of the matter photographically, only enough to
create something so graphic you get an art director's attention.  And
those of us who often work through agents, stock and assignment, find
our careers often hinge on judgements of editors which appear fickle, 
arbitrary, self-serving, and often cruel (the cruelty that comes from
too much power unsoftened by maturity).  Paranoid and insecure?  You
bet!  It's a rational response.
